Background
I first got interested in fitness around 16 years old when I left school and signed a full time two year apprenticeship with Millwall Football Club. This means I spent a vast amount of my time in gyms and exercising on a daily basis, experiencing different types of training and fitness approaches. I had also been at the club 7 years prior to this, so was able to see the progression of exercises from when I was a beginner just starting out aged 9, to when I was 18 years old and in peak condition.
Aside from my regular gym and circuit workouts I witnessed and experienced various rehabilitation exercises through myself and other players returning from injury. I observed the progression made throughout that period through to full recovery, which now enables me to effectively treat clients who have injuries whether they are recent or long term problems.
Since 2012 I have turned my skills to personal training and getting qualified in various aspects of fitness to help others stay enthusiastic about fitness and exercise, but most of all, help them achieve their goals.
